Boris Sheiko about his visit to Italy

It has now been two weeks since returning from Italy, where I was a special guest and lecturer at the “Nazionale della Forza” convention. It was a perfectly organized workshop which covered many topics including fitness, martial arts, kettlebell sport and powerlifting. Thomas Pesce, Fabio Zonin and Ado Gruzzo proved to be excellent organizers. It was great to be accompanied by Mike Tuscherer and Mark Reifkind. I was very happy about the large number of participants, more than 250 who came from all over Italy to take part in this convention. I was also impressed with the interest shown by all participants; all in attendance listened very well to topics ranging from fitness physiology to weight sports of the world. During the three days I spent at the convention I was asked many questions about my method of training, questions I was never asked in Russia for 10 years. The most questions I received were from Ado Gruzza, he delighted me with his knowledge of the methodology of powerlifting and his great desire to know more. Italy should be happy that it has a trainer like Ado Gruzza, selflessly loving powerlifting and its athletes.
