My Sumo deadlift form is very similar to Qudsiah - an intermediate stance in terms of how wide my feet air, and a higher statarting position for my hips.
The issue is that when I bring my hips lower, as Valeryia does, my butt and hips shoot up before the bar leaves the ground. When I start with my hips higher (again, very similar to Qudsiah's starting position), my hips and shoulders rise at the same time.
Any ideas on what causes this, and how to fix it? Is it just a matter of working on hip flexibility, so my starting stance can be wider?
