I'm an class 1 lifter and training around 1000 reps a month.
How much percentage do you guys calculate that you gain in the total in one year?

You know.... What to expect  :)

That's a very broad question... What to expect depends on your individuality and lifestyle/genetics/health. If you don't get hurt a lot, eat/sleep well, have a natural affinity to getting stronger then you'll progress further than if you didn't... Nobody can say that you'll gain 100lbs on your lifts or that you won't for that matter but what one can say is that if you train for a year, take care of yourself you'll definitely will be further than you are today. Just no way to tell by how much...

Its a very hard question to answer it depends when you started how long you have been lifting etc etc. I have friends that are close to class 1 lifters and above and have only been gyming for like 2-3 months. Where as I have others that have been working on that level for 4-5 years.

The real question is if I said 20% would you keep pushing hard until that point or decide thats not enough and give up?

tl;dr. Way to many factors basically everyone is different

I have some aggregate data (your results may vary) that shows people gain 30-40% before leveling off to slow progress. It works out the same no matter where you start off. So if you enter the gym and you're Class I on the first day add 30-40% to that. If you start off much below that, same process. What happens is that the stronger guy gets more out of lifting that the other guy. Probably a big factor as to why this happens is that the other guy wasn't in a "trainable state" to begin with and may have started with the weights a bit prematurely.
