How to use the program?

I just bought the app and after inputting my stats, was automatically assigned one of the 4 day advanced cycles.
My question is: when should I readjust my maxes? After each 4 week prep cycle or only at the end of 4 months, after the peak of the comp cycle?

There are max test days in the program that will come up as you move through it. The comp day at the end is also another chance to show new maxes too of course.

Oh, one more question.
The program calls for banded and chain work, I don't have access to either at my gym. How can I replace banded and chained movements?

If there was an option in the settings as to whether we have access to that equipment or not it would be really useful

Consider getting some. You can order bands online fairly cheap and you can get chains at a hardware store. Both are really useful and you'd be missing out by not utilizing these training methods.
