small lifter 70kg bodyweight
« on: May 18, 2017, 10:31:19 AM »
Hello! Here I'm from Italy! I'm an old boy 36 years old, lifting weights from 2014 and on February 2017 I started Intermediate large load. I'm 70 kg of body weight.
This are my new maxes!

squat 160kg    https://youtu.be/9b6ZEAmXsIE

bench 102,5 kg     https://youtu.be/YuBwHCboyJY

and deadlift 200kg https://youtu.be/6UTrbXuNDnA

I think that in squat I can do better if I fix technique, in particular on going down.
Tell me what you think about my lifts! Thanks!

okay. You need to work on your squatting technique. The angle is not the best but I would say push you knees further out to the side. It looks like you are collapsing a bit in the bottom.

Try to take a look on your lower back angle throughout the lift. It changes... It should not. Could be week core in a combination with a strong back. You need to work those abs I would say. Also, it might look you loose tension in upper back/chest does not stay "up" but I can't say so conclusively because of the angle but it wouldn't surprise me. I can see you can't take videos from an angle straight in front of you but these things might be something you should think about.

Bench. You need more arch. Perhaps a stronger back and arms and more muscle mass on chest.

Deadlift looks ok. Might want to look a bit at http://sheiko-program.ru/benedikt-magnusson-and-kirill-sarychev-deadlift-comparison
I would not say much because of the angle. Perhaps you need chest more up but at current state focus on squat and bench. Implementing too many things at once is not always the best.

Thank you, I really appriciate your advices. Can you suggest a squat variation that could help? Pause somewhere squat? Or front squat to be more vertical? I THINK that the problem IS that I have to be more vertical. Bench what do you suggest to gain some muscle mass? I'm training with intermrdiate large load, do you think IS good for me?
