26 weeks out. Changes to program

My original plan was to compete in 11 weeks but I didn't realize how far I'd have to drive. There is a another meet which is 26 weeks out that would be much easier for me to go to.

Currently, I'm on medium load prep 2 (week 6). I've thought of two simple ways to change the program:
1. Continue the program as planned but do a mock meet in 11 weeks. Then cut out 5 weeks somewhere between then and the actual meet day. My thinking is that I'll be able to cut fatigue and peak to get a better idea of my maxes on the mock meet.
2. Cut out the whole original comp cycle which is 5 weeks. I don't know how important the comp cycle is without an actual meet. There are already skill tests within the prep cycles which I think would suffice. This will allow me to run the 20 week prep after that without changes and allow me to do more prep cycles which I think would be better.

I'd like to know what y'all think would be the best way to do this.
