Some questions about 3-day & 4-day program

I’ve used 3-day program for about one year and plan to switch to 4-day program . After taking a quick look I found there are 15 weeks in 4-day program but only 8 weeks in 3-day program and they both require 105% in comp cycle at the end.
I’m wondering what would happened by using 4-day program and what’s the benefits of 4-day?
4-day program  is twice as long as 3-day after all .

Benefits of 4 days program:

Loads are better distributed
Second deadlift day
Can add more volume
