No lat/bicep work?

In the over 80kg program there is 0 lat/bicep work (except a little indirect work during deadlifts) in the comp period. Also in the prep work you only work out your lats once a week. Is this intentional or is it ok if I add some weighed pull ups? And won't the lack of bicep work cause elbow problems?

Sorry if this is a stupid question that has been asked before, but I couldn't find it.

The workouts are structured into your main lifts and other stuff like abs, hypers, and so on. The other stuff you can change without really worrying about at all.
