Bench form critique please
« on: December 01, 2016, 12:30:40 AM »
I would love to figure out how to really master this lift.

Any critique would be sincerely appreciated.

I am not able to watch the files. If you upload to YT you can have your videos shown directly in your topic.

I have a couple of my gym lifts on youtube.  I am new to youtube.  Please bear with me while I sort out editing.  Sorry if the video is too long.

I learned after there's too much wrist flexion?  I have been cranking my straps down tighter.  I am pretty narrow. It's very painful to go wide.

I would recommend reading this: http://sheiko-program.ru/forum/index.php?topic=1095.0

and see the video tutorial by Conner Lutz: http://sheiko-program.ru/forum/index.php?topic=290.0

You eccentric fase is a bit on the slow side (unless it on purpose) and you don't pause at chest. You could also work on getting a better arch. But perhaps it is better to see on a lift that is not 100%.

Thanks, I'll upload some working sets today.  Arch is hard for me, lots of lower back issues.
Appreciate your feedback.
