Reverse hyper without progress overload?

Is there any point on doing reverse hyper on GHR if I can’t progress overload with just a band?

maybe you could make them harder by
* add pauses at the top
* do the movement slower
* use stronger bands

I have also only GHR and I'm thinking to attache somehow plates to my ankles (ankle straps?) but this is future plan.
