How long have you been training? How long have you been using Super-coach Sheiko's training?
Been training for over 20 years, powerlifting since 2006. The accumulated time consistently training any of the stock sheiko program is probably a good year or year and a half; on top of that I've probably done another year or two with programs of my own that're very much based on The Knowledge.
Do you compete? Which Fed?
IPF.
What have you totaled? What are your best lifts?
My best equipped meet total is 912,5kg with 345kg-207,5kg-360kg but my meet PR:s are 345kg-220kg-375kg.
I'm not a very good raw lifter, my meet PR:s there are: 257,5kg-162,5kg-305kg.
All but the raw bench press and deadlift are done in the 120+kg category, the other two are from the old 125kg class.

Height/ weight
189cm, 130:ish kg in shape, 120:ish now.

And the what now?
Trawling the forums looking for insights and the motivation to get my a** in shape so that I can start competing again. I'm a lazy fatty at the moment :/

Where are you from?
Netherlands
How long have you been training? How long have you been using Super-coach Sheiko's training?
7 years. This is the first time im running sheiko seriously. Did the 29-31-37 blabla stuff in the past, but always overtrained due to undereating.
Do you compete? Which Fed?
RAW @ NPB
What have you totaled? What are your best lifts?
Last meet was 550 kilo 6 weeks after face surgery; 200 squat - 120 bench - 230 deadlift @ 80,1 kilo bw.
Best gym lifts are 215-140-250, all at an out of shape 88-94kilo bw.
In December I will be competing in the Dutch Raw Championships in -83. After that im going up a weight class. I'm sure sheiko lay outs will help me a lot, just switched to sumo stance deadlifts.

Where are you from?
Belgium

How long have you been training? How long have you been using Super-coach Sheiko's training?
3 years powerlifting training, before that track & field (200-400m) for some years

sheiko bench press program with auto regulated low volume sq&dl (chronic knee tendonitis) since oct 13 - now

Do you compete? Which Fed?

I am also national cat referee

Yo :D

Chris zit hier ook man. Krijgt online coaching van Sheiko.

Hi, new member, very excited and hopeful.

I'm from the UK, but now living in Vietnam. Teaching English to small children, doing a little personal training and enjoying life with my girlfriend and friends.

Powerlifting? Not very long, a few months. I started 4 years ago at 140kg, spent 1.5 years cutting down to 80kg using Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength (got me some big legs but neglected the bench press, my fault). Then moved into Weightlifting (Schtangist!) and did well, enoyed it. After 2 years Snatched 105kg, Clean and Jerked 130kg at 80kg Bodyweight. Not Olympic level, but bad. Again, neglected the bench press.

Then in Vietnam I had a Stroke (at 23!!) then spent the next few months in and out of hospitals between Vietnam and England. I made an attempt to return to Weightlifting, but it just wasn't there, my brain-body connection just couldn't keep up with the speed required. So I cast my eyes to the 'ugly' sport of Powerlifting. But so far really enjoying it! 3 months in and my lifts are:

Bodyweight  90kg
Squat 165kg (High bar Weightlifting style, not ideal for Powerlifting but feels natural)
Bench 110kg (Terrible...)
Deadlift 240kg (I don't know where this came from!)

I don't compete, and don't plan to for the foreseeable future as I'm not sure what competitions even exist down here in South East Asia (though Australia isn't too far away). But I want to build the strength so that someday if/when I return to England, I can compete.

So today is my first day of Sheiko's #37 Program, then followed by the programs suggested in the +80kg lifter plan.

Thanks!

Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia all have good powerlifting history. Wife's dad makes trip from Taiwan to Vietnam frequently seems not too expensive

Hey guys,

My name is Hugo and I live in the UK. I have been training for quite a while, but I only started competing in 2012. I compete in the GBPF/IPF.

My best competitions lifts are 250kg/145kg/272.5kg @ 105kg.

I followed the Sheiko routines for around 2 to 3 years before starting doing my own thing.

I will create a training log where I detail my lifting a bit more. :)

You can follow me on Instagram (http://instagram.com/fullhdlifting) and watch me on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/hfmduarte/).

Cheers! :)

*Where are you from?
born in the Philippines, now in Japan. 41yo 159cm ~71kg
using 2 gyms at the moment. gym #1 is a commercial gym, 15min walk from my apartment. training here T-Th. gym #2 is a PL gym but requires 1H travel time (walk + train). some members of Japan's PL team train there, so there is that motivation to get strong. women, sub-juniors, juniors, other masters i see them there. too bad my Japanese speaking ability is very limited :-(

*How long have you been training? How long have you been using Super-coach Sheiko's training?
~18 months. At 39 years of age, the iron bug bit me. I started by dabbling with simple 5x5s and the Texas Method. I just recently found coach Sheiko's principles.

*Do you compete? Which Fed?
I want to! M1 :-) JPA (IPF affiliated) local meets only. Fiscal year is ending so there is no point in joining now.

*What have you totaled? What are your best lifts?
I'm aiming for 3pl8/2pl8/3pl8 or more around April.

よろしくお願いいたします。
