How many of you write your own Sheiko program?
« on: July 13, 2017, 03:54:43 PM »
Most people use the app or the spreadsheets, from what I gather. Do any of you write your own Sheiko programs entirely?

Do you use an excel sheet to crunch the numbers?
Do you plan out an entire mesocycle or do you plan it week by week?

Basically what I'm asking is, do any of you do for yourself what Boris Sheiko does for his clients?

I don't make new programs from scratch, but I modify the existing ones, by interchange exercise and some alterations of reps for assistance work.

as with Rune I also tend to modify existing ones but sometimes end up doing it so much that it can be hard to recognize the original program.

I wouldn't recommend planing/writing it week by week if you are doing it by yourself because one needs to an idea of the whole structure and longterm (as well as short term) purpose.

Yes I use excel and other software too.

Sheiko recommends altering the basic programs seen on this forum to ones own needs. This has in large part become redundant because of the sophistication behind the app.
