Preparing for competition versus long term planning
« on: June 19, 2017, 05:30:16 PM »
Hi, I would appreciate some advice on how to plan ahead.  I ran through the Advanced Medium Load program using the App.  In the middle I had a vacation and a surgery, but got through it with some breaks in-between.  I had my first competition and did well.  I'm a 56 years old male and really just starting to compete.  I have another competition coming in 9 weeks.  My question is should I plan to go through the complete prep and comp cycles and just do some short prep in the middle for the competition and continue the full cycle...or should I do something like prep 3 plus comp?

Thanks for any advice!
Terry
