Universal Topics / What counts as volume
« on: May 18, 2017, 08:30:29 PM »
How come good mornings does not count as training volume, for deadlift. But for example front squats does for squats?
Is there some general guidelines by sheiiko for regarding training volume and what exercise count in as training volume?

It would also be fun with a lot of variation for example  chains and different pauses. Like the four day program.

The 3days program is twelve weeks. The 4 days is 20 weeks at least th one I'm looking at. I basically I'm hoping for a 20 weeks 3 days program.

Hello will there be out a new three program (a big one let's say 20 weeks  that reminds of the four days program)sometime? If so I would be a happy man.

Body weight before   93
*Maxes before 170/117.5/195--------
*Program - over/under 80kg  -----------over
*Did you modify it? yes/no---------------alot  spread out the exercises more so squat bench and deads all three days. Why? more effective of time cuz of family situation.
*Body weight after 93
*Maxes after 175/122.5/ deadlift test on friday... Still got more kilos in the squat and probebly in the bench to.
*Any other thoughts/feedback
just went to test day. starting over again cuz competition is far away. Also so I spread out the exercises just to save time. I rarely trained over one hour often under. didnt do much of assisant work.

I used to have big problems. What helped me was going to a kiropractor also tense machine. But to prevent it I really think train for example good mornings and RDL is good.

Competitions / Swedish raw nationals. Juniors and masters

Some good lifters. Tomorrow is the 83 kg with some great lifters. I big possibility that we have 2-3 lifters over 240 kg squat. I would guess we could se one lifter over 250 kg squat. There's also a chance of a 290-300 kg deadlift from one of these lifters.

Does anyone have problems with the diagrams under week 31? Mine doesn't work for squat and bench....

I also find this a little bit hard to understand. I've just had a fast look In the app. But what I can se I that the amount of lifts is  pretty much the same for the intermediate lifter as for the under 80 kg. I'm a intermediate lifter but around 90-95 kg. I think I'm going for the intermediate or the under 80 kg program.
More thoughts on that anyone smart please!

In what way can close grip and medium grip bench press help you to increase the "wide" bench press?

No  need to go ape shit. My English isn't perfec I'm from Sweden. yes I want more muscles not gain weight. And I don't want to train like a bodybuilder cuz that not the ambition.

No plan to become heavier. But thanks for the link.
